PODCASTING

I have been using iTunes to listen to music and burn CDs. I had never bothered to learn what podcasting was until now. I am so excited now to listen to a new & interesting content everyday instead of listening to the recorded ones. All I need is a new iPod. I downloaded Pittsburgh Hear and Now, DeathRay Radio.

Firefox is quite interesting if you get the hang of it. I could only download the recommended add-ons and when I tried to download some other add-ons I kept getting this pop-up about xpi extension and it never worked for me. I downloaded colorful tabs for my Firefox browser and it looks beautiful. I will try to use more of Firefox from now on.

Week 9 assignmnet

I am uploading this beautiful view from our USC Library. The library is colorful inside (with beautiful patrons and staff) and colorful outside (nature).

Downloadable Resources

This week's exercise took a long time to complete. I had no trouble installing the software for OverDrive on to my computer at work but I could never download a book. I kept getting an error message "Problem with Digital Rights Management Machine ID". That's not very encouraging for someone like me to continue. Then I switched to NetLibrary downloading where again I had trouble transfering the book to my PC. I finally downloaded a book manually and it started playing on realplayer by itself. This is my experience with this week's assignment.
